Winter is a busy time for everyone –  we’re all managing our own responsibilities on top of the cold weather and snow. It’s easy to forget that we need to slow down and take time to care for ourselves. This week we’ve asked our medical aesthetician, Arden, to share her tips and tricks on relaxation and when she feels most comfortable – enjoy!

What do you do to relax? What does relaxation mean to you?

A:  Taking time to rest and treat my skin with some extra attention is my favourite way to relax. This often includes watching my favourite show whilst pampering my skin to a facial masque, sipping my favourite drink and spending quality time alone. For me, relaxation means separating yourself from the inevitable stress of life and utilizing techniques to relax my mind, my muscles and centre my mental state. 

What’s your favourite go-to treatment when you need a pick me up? 

A: My favourite treatment when I feel that I need a pick-me-up is always a no downtime facial peel such as the Skinceuticals Micropeel. This leaves my skin radiant and glowing with no downtime or discomfort!

What treatment would you recommend most to others/first time guests and why?
